We were happy with today's fishing for good group of EB II fluke regulars. Worked a batch of fish all day and banged away at mixed size fish and some nice seabass as well. There was a nice spread of keepers around the boat by the end of the day with the majority of the guys having fish to take home. Hey gang, it was a beautiful day to be out on the water. I knew it was going to be a good day when we had 16 keepers fluke on our 1st drift. Was a nice way to start. The fluke were biting again. Couple limits on the boat, Pete from Middletown, New York, our regular, had his limit and released a ton of other fluke. Joe and Wayne had 4 in their cooler, several other guys had 2 keepers, some with just 1 and some with just short action. All and all not a bad fluke day. Capt George of the Angler came out to do a little fishing and even made a couple drifts.

We had dense fog on the way out and we had dense fog on our way in. We boated over fluke and we had to work hard to get our 11 keepers today with several 17 and a half inch fish that went back. Had some nice quality fish though. All in all another nice day to be on the water with some great people on the boat today. Captain Jack will be at the helm tomorrow and he will bring his A game like last Sunday. It really hurts to see the gut hook fish go back, what a shame.
